Scott Simerlink, CCM
Scott has been in the Hospitality industry since 1977. He has spent the last 40 years managing Private Clubs. He began his club career in 1984 at Myers Park Country Club. He has also served members at Charlotte Country Club, Gaston Country Club and Firethorne Country Club before becoming the GM at Florence Country Club in October 2015. He is a CCM and a member of the Honor Society of Club Managers.
 
Head Golf Professional
Steve Behr
Now in his 22nd year as the FCC Head Professional, Steve is a Class A PGA member and a Member of the PGA Quarter Century Club. He has an extensive playing record dating back to junior golf where he was a (2) time State High School Individual Champion and was recognized in 1978 as a 1st Team High School All-American. Steve played collegiately at the College of Charleston where he was a (4) time All Conference selection and a (4) time Most Valuable Player. As a professional, he is a (17) time member of the South Carolina PGA Palmetto Cup Team which recognizes the top 14 playing professions in the state. He also qualified for (3) PGA Tour events, most recently the 2006 Verizon Heritage Classic on Hilton Head Island.
 
Golf Teaching Professional
Paul Woodbury
Paul serves as Director of Junior Golf and Instruction. He is a former All Southeastern Conference Selection while playing at the University of South Carolina and is in the process of becoming a class A member of the PGA of America. Paul has also played professionally on PGA Tour Canada. He is also the assistant golf coach at Francis Marion and the Director of the SCJGA Florence Chapter.

Larry Rizzo
Larry is #1 in the State. He is also a (5) time state champion in singles and a (2) time southern champion in doubles. Larry has been been named South Carolina Tennis Pro of the Year twice by the USTA/SC. He was also inducted into the SC Tennis Hall of Fame in 2007. Larry served other other South Carolina tennis players by serving on the SC Tennis Association as a former President. Through his coaching there have been over 40 of his junior players receive tennis scholarships and currently he has 5 former students serving their communities as tennis pros in South Carolina.
 
Golf Course Superintendent
Richard Brown
Born and raised in Cayce SC. Richard moved to Myrtle Beach in 2011 to obtain his turf degree from Horry-Georgetown Technical College. While in the Myrtle Beach area, He worked at courses such as Prestwick, Grand Dunes Resort, TPC Myrtle and Dunes Club before joining the Man O'War Golf Club where he spent 3 years as the Assistant Superintendent. In 2016, he became the Senior Assistant to Orangeburg Country Club and was there for over 5 years before coming to us as Golf Course Superintendent.

Teresa Garris
Teresa joined Florence Country Club in October, 1999. Before joining the Club she attended Fayetteville Community College and began her career as a Premium Finance Manager. She also spent several years as a Personal Lines Insurance Agent Underwriter with a large Company in Fayetteville North Carolina where she served as manager.
 
Head Tennis Professional
Eric Kantor
U.S.P.T.A. Certified coach who taught High Performance tennis in Florida from 1995-2020. From the beginning, Eric has had the great fortune to learn from some of the best coaches. Working experience includes working with Bill Clark, Rick Macci and Harold Solomon. Before joining the Florence Country Club, Eric was currently coaching Lara Smejkal. Eric has had the fortune to train players that have gone on to play WTA and ATP events as well as many players that have received full scholarships to Division 1 schools. Eric has the ability to to help any young aspiring tennis prodigy raise their game to another level. Eric loves working with High Performance players and LOVES working with young 6 year old beginners. Any player interested in learning tennis is a player Eric loves to work with. Assistant Tennis Professional
Ed Jarolim
Ed Jaorlim is a USPTR and ITF Certified Pro. Ed previously worked at the Cosa Rica Country Club where he was the Director of the junior program for over 17 years. During his tenure, Ed had sent over 50 players to the United States on collegiate scholarships as well as coached many of the adult league teams. Ed and FCC Director of tennis Eric Kantor have known each other since playing collegiate tennis together, throughout there friendship, Ed and Eric continued to work with each other at the Rick Macci tennis academy for years before Ed left to Costa Rica where Ed bring players twice a year from Costa Rica to the Eric Kantor Tennis Academy where they would prepare players for international tournaments in Florida and beyond. Ed enjoys training high level tournament players but also takes great interests in young beginner players that want to experience the great game of tennis as well as beginner to advanced adult players. Ed has experience with all players at all levels.
